Mathematics has always been my weak point; I don’t know how people handle those numbers and remember all those complicated formulae.

I hated it earlier but during my Class 10^{th} final exams somehow I developed interest in this subject and since then my math skills are only improving. But there is one thing which hasn’t changed till now, I hate trigonometry.

So by now you might have got the point.

Today’s post is totally dedicated to help you solve your math problems.

And before I start with the core topic I would like to clear out one thing first.

By solving your Math’s Problems I mean solving those complicated questions in mathematics, it is not like if your math teacher is your problem, I can’t solve it. Deal with him yourself 😀

Okay! Now I think you are ready to receive some amazing stuff from me, so let us start.

In this post I am going to discuss two of the best web apps on the internet which are going to help you solve your mathematics problems.

So, the first web app we are going to talk about is

## Mathway.com

[button-white url=”http://www.mathway.com/” target=”_self” position=”left” rel=”nofollow”] Visit Mathway[/button-white]

This is a really useful resource for dealing with numbers, No matter what kind of problems you need to solve, whether trigonometry or calculus. It is all available there and that too this app is free to use.

When you visit it the app first asks you about your problem, in which topic will it come?

The types of problems Mathway supports are

- Basic Maths
- Pre-Algebra
- Algebra
- Trigonometry
- PreCalculus
- Calculus
- Statistics

So click on the type of problem you want to solve and you will be taken to the problem input screen.

Enter your problem using the available buttons or by typing in the problem box.

Like here I am solving a simple calculus problem, I asked it the integration of sin(x).

And as you know the computer is never wrong, I got the correct answer i.e. –cos(x).

## Wolfram Alpha

[button-white url=”http://www.wolframalpha.com/examples/Math.html” target=”_self” position=”left” rel=”nofollow”] Visit Wolfram Alpha[/button-white]

Wolfram alpha is another online resource to help you solve your mathematics problems. You can deal with almost all kinds of math problems.

But its interface is not as simple as the earlier one we discussed in this post, you will need to understand how to enter a complicated problem, you know complex exponential equations and calculus related problems.

One you get adjusted with its functioning then it is an amazing thing to use.

Here is the list of types of problems you can solve using wolfram alpha.

- Elementary Mathematics
- Plotting and graphics
- Algebra
- Calculus and analysis
- Geometry (My Favorite Topic J )
- Number theory
- Discrete mathematics
- Applied mathematics
- Logic and set theory
- Mathematical functions
- Advanced Mathematics
- Mathematical definitions
- And Famous Math Problems like Reimann Hypothesis and Fermat’s Little Theorem

Now to give you an example let us just try out evaluating the value of pi up to 1000 digits.

[alert-announce]Did you know: The Value of pi has been calculated to a maximum of 1.24 trillion digits after the decimal. [/alert-announce]

Okay so here is the screenshot of the result it gave me.

And it also represented the value of pi on the number line.

## What do you think?

Go on and try out both of these apps and make sure to come back and let me know which one you found better.

And please don’t make it a habit as to improve your math skills, you need to practice it yourself using a pen and paper and try not to depend on web apps like the ones I discussed in this post.

Maths has been my most hated subject ever. Great that there are now some sites which can help one learn and solve math problems.

I hope someday computers cam do all the calculations, giving some resting time to little students 😉

They still can do it Narender but our schools are not ready to accept this fact, Our Bad Luck

Well Nishant, Maths is one of my favorite and most interesting subject to work upon. And currently in my engineering career I have got mathematics and I guess this will be of great help.

Thanks a lot for sharing it with us.

Hi Charmie,

That’s the reason I wrote it, to help every maths student

and I still have a doubt, How is Mathematics interesting 😀 ?
